About Passport Size Photo Converter

Passport Size Photo Converter is a free tool for making passport, visa and ID photos at home. Getting a photo rejected because the head is 2 mm too small or the background is the wrong shade wastes time and money — and paid photo studios or apps often charge more than the visa fee itself. We wanted a tool anyone can use for free, from any phone.

How it works

When you upload a photo, an AI model running inside your browser finds your face and the outline of your head and shoulders. The tool then straightens and scales the photo so your head is the size the document requires, replaces the background, and checks for common problems such as closed eyes or a turned head. Nothing is uploaded to us.

How we keep the requirements accurate

Each page links to the source of its numbers and shows when we last checked it. Where an official government page is available, we use it. Where we could only confirm the rules through consistent secondary sources, the page says so clearly. Rules change, so please always confirm with the embassy, visa centre or passport office handling your application.
